Aspen Workshop Pages

Over the weekend, I finished up my workshop samples for December's scrapbook workshop. I used the gorgeous Aspen papers from Close To My Heart. While I think these will look better with photos on them, that may have to wait just a little bit.

These two pages use Ceramcoat Acrylic paint. While I'm not overly thrilled with the right page, I have to admit that it was my first time using paint on a scrapbook layout. I will more than likely mount a photo on another piece of cardstock then onto the mat covering up some of the paint.

On these two pages, I used the dry embossing and sanding techniques. I honestly LOVE the My Stickease assortment for these papers!

If you are interested in learning more about this workshop, or even attending or scheduling one of your own, then hop on over to my website for complete details!

Until next time....

Mini Acrylic Album

I thought I'd start off by sharing this mini acrylic album I completed this week. I used CTMH's new My Creations Mini Acrylic Album and My Reflections Evensong Level 2 Papers. Accessories include: ribbon, rub-ons, and sparkles. This will be a part of my December workshop schedule, which revolves around Christmas gifts. Be sure to check my CTMH website for complete details. I apologize for the quality of the photos; however this is not an easy thing to photograph (could be my photography skills too - LOL!)

Welcome!

Welcome to my stamping, scrapping, papercrafting blog! I have long hesitated to jump on the blog "bandwagon" simply because my schedule does not allow for a lot of extra time. However, with the Holidays fast approaching, I thought I would take the opporunity to share some of my creations.

I am a stamper at heart, who has also found scrapbooking and papercrafting/altered art. I learned a LONG time ago, that I cannot draw and did not have the patience to learn. However, I can color (you do learn a few things in kindegarten). When I discovered stamping, I fell in love with all the wonderful images that I could stamp and color in and turn into my version of art.

As a Close To My Heart Independent Consultant, I have learned many techniques, as well as gotten into the scrapbooking side of paper crafts. I also LOVE to make projects - boxes, bags, alterable things - if it can be stamped, scored, folded, shaped, etc., I love doing it.

While I cannot promise that I will post daily, or regularly, my goal is to post at least once a week or so. I try to find a little time to create in my busy schedule, even if it's just the things we will be doing for classes and workshop. Until I get in the swing of posting here, I invite you to stop by my Close To My Heart website to view some of the things I've done over the last year or so.

Until next time...
