Stamp of the Month Blog Hop {Wonderful Friend}

It's time once again for our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring June's Stamp of the Month,
Wonderful Friend, Set of 9.

This month, I had a little more time to play.  I love the layout done in the Idea Book for this stamp set, but wanted to use the Passages Level 2 Papers, as that is the kit I'm featuring this month.  So, I put my own little creative twist on the layout and this is what I came up with...

Accessories: Gold Embossing Powder, Clear Detail Embossing Powder, Mini Medly Accents Pewter, Embossing Pen

Techniques: Direct-To-Paper, Heat Embossing, Generation Stamping

Here are a few close up shots of the details:

The watch was stamped in VersaMark on Cocoa Cardstock. I embossed it in Gold Embossing Powder. For the clock face, I used the Embossing Pen to color it in, then heat embossed in Clear Detail Powder.  After the image cooled, I trimmed it with our Microtip Scissors.

I cut apart the verse in the stamp set, then lined it up one one block and stamped it all around the outside edge of the main frame.  I used Pewter Brads to separate the verses.

The "tab" is the frame from the stamp set stamped in Cocoa Ink and trimmed.

I will add the date/year when I figure out which photos to add to this page.

I inked the edges of all the pieces with Cocoa ink, except for the Garden Green square, which was swiped with Brown Bag ink.  I took the ink pad and literally swiped it across my cardstock to get the effect.
