This year's CTMH Convention is being held in the nation's capitol, Washington, DC. Due to my work schedule, I am unable to attend; however, thanks to some AWESOME Consultants, as well as CTMH Corporate, those of us at home are able to keep up with most everything going on.
Yesterday was the first day of Convention. It brought the debut of the new Autumn/Winter 2010 Idea Book. We were lucky enough to get some sneak peeks at new products as well as changes coming to Studio J, Hostess Rewards and more.
Possibly the most major change regarding products was the announcement of a revamped Summer Color Palette. Eight new colors were introduced: Gypsy, Pacifica, Sky, Smoothie, Sunset, Cotton Candy, Pear & Lagoon. This means there will be 8 colors retiring: Hydrangea, Clover Meadow, Orange, Star Spangled Blue, Bubblegum, Citrus Leaf, Ocean & Watermelon.
I would venture to guess, based on prior color changes, that the retiring colors will be available while supplies last through the end of the year. If you love the retiring colors, make sure you stock up on them now before they are gone. And don't forget re-inkers to go with your ink pads! I know I'll be making sure I have them!

Another major announcement was the introduction of a new "how-to" book: MAGIC!
Magic contains new layout patterns for your scrapbooking pleasure, as well as how-to's for INTERACTIVE pages! The book also contains a DVD and templates.
Now, for the bad news...the new Autumn/Winter Idea Book won't be available until September 1st. I won't even have MY copy until the 1st week or so of August!
