Time of Your Life {Heart 2 Heart Challenge #8}

Wow, I've really missed out on a lot of AWESOME challenges over at Heart 2 Heart Challenges! I can't believe we're on #8 already.  This week's challenge was to stamp your own background.  I LOVE making unique pattern papers out of stamps and inks.

While I didn't do the entire background, I did create my own pattern paper using the backside of the pretty Cocoa B&T from Passages and the Live Inspired stamp set.  There wasn't enough of the Script B&T to do my cards, so I created my own script paper using the stamp set, Cocoa Ink, and a little masking.

Other accessories: Cocoa Grosgrain Ribbon, Pewter Brads

This is also one of the cards we'll be creating during my June card workshops.

Enjoy Life {Heart 2 Heart Challenge #1}...and a Sneak Peek

It's not very often that I have time to take the challenges from various blogs; however, when I saw the challenge over at Heart 2 Heart Challenges, I knew I could do this one! Heart 2 Heart Challenges is a new blog all about CTMH Challenges. Check out the guidelines for their first challenge here.

I've just received my shipment of Summer 2010 CTMH Idea Books and the Stamp of the Month sets. I knew the August Stamp of the Month, Something Splendid would be perfect for these colors. While this set is not available until August 1, 2010, it does give me a head start on my artwork display :)

Pattern: Wishes - Medallion

Stamps: Something Splendid (Available August 1-31, 2010)

Cardstock: Chocolate, Sunflower, Sweet Leaf, Colonial White

Inks: Chocolate, Sweet Leaf, Sunflower

Accessories: Sweet Leaf Ribbon Rounds

Techniques: Base & Shade Stamping
